Topic: HTTP POST Methods, JSON Payloads & Token Authorization What We Did (Project): What We Learned (Skills):
Topic: Dynamic URL Query Parameters & Multi-Path Routing What We Did (Project): What We Learned (Skills): URL
Topic: Mastering HTTP GET Methods & Backend Data Pipelines What We Did (Project): What We Learned (Skills): बिना रेडीमेड प्लगइन्स के सीधे ग्लोबल सर्वर्स से लाइव डेटा खींचना (HTTP GET)।
Today, we explored various *n8n project ideas* and discussed how workflow automation can be used to solve real-world business problems. We successfully *installed and set up n8n locally*, gaining an understanding of the local development environment and how to create and test workflows. We also brainstormed *future n8n project ideas, focusing on practical automation use cases and how they can be expanded into more advanced applications. In addition, we explored **advanced features of Google Maps*, including its capabilities for location-based automation, route optimization, geocoding, and other APIs that can be integrated with n8n to build powerful location-aware workflows.
Revised all the projects of n8n we done. Given the demo of Automation Log website designed to keep the projects log. 15 minutes session was done on Google Maps. 20 minutes session of Power BI specially Decomposition Tree Visual.
Today, we learned several useful **Power BI shortcuts and productivity tricks** to improve report creation and data analysis efficiency. We also discussed the **Scatter Chart** visual, including its purpose, use cases, and how it helps analyze relationships between two numerical variables. After Power BI, we continued working on **Lab 2** of our **Smart India Mini Hackathon – Onboarding Engine** project in **n8n**. We extended the workflow by adding multiple new features to enhance the onboarding process. We also designed and integrated **HTML pages** for **user registration** and **query submission**, making the application more interactive and user-friendly. To speed up frontend development, we used **Claude AI** to generate and refine the HTML pages, learning how AI tools can assist in building clean and responsive user interfaces while reducing development time.
Today, we enhanced our **Mini Hackathon Onboarding Engine[LAB-2]** project by extending its functionality beyond the initial scope. We planned and discussed additional features, including the development of a **Landing Page** and a **Support Page**, to improve the overall user experience and make the platform more complete. We also explored **Git** and **GitHub** in detail, understanding their purpose, key features, and the differences between them. This helped build a solid foundation for version control and collaborative development. As part of the implementation, we developed: * A **Candidate Registration Page** using HTML. * A **Candidate Support Page** where users can submit their queries or request assistance. Finally, we uploaded the project to **GitHub**, learned the complete workflow for pushing code to a repository, and successfully **deployed the website using GitHub Pages**, making the project accessible online.
Today, we discussed **Lab 1** of the **Smart India Mini Hackathon**, where we designed, built, and understood the complete workflow of the **AI-powered Onboarding Engine** using **n8n**. We explored various AI nodes, their functionalities, and the reasons for using the **Groq Chat Model** with the **Versatile LLM**, understanding its advantages over other approaches for our workflow. We also discussed the limitations of **Claude**, particularly its usage restrictions, and learned how these limitations can be managed using a browser extension to ensure uninterrupted productivity during development. In **Power BI**, we learned the difference between **calculated columns** and **measures** and resolved issues related to creating measures from suggested columns. Additionally, we explored **Bookmarks**, the **Selection Pane**, **Page Navigation**, **Click Actions**, and **Visibility-based actions**, gaining a better understanding of how these features can be used to create interactive, dynamic, and user-friendly dashboards.
